Mark is the United Methodist campus minister at Vanderbilt University. He has been in ecumenical partnership with St. Augustine’s since 1994. Prior to Vanderbilt, Mark was the Wesley Foundation Director at Austin Peay State University. He was educated at Trevecca Nazarene College (BA, 1979), Vanderbilt Divinity School (M.Div., 1983), and Columbia Theological Seminary (D.Min., 2005). Mark and his wife Elaine have two daughters, Emily and Shelley, and a grandson Cayden. |

Rev. Lissa SmithAssociate Priest |
The Reverend Melissa Smith is Associate Priest at St. Augustine's Episcopal Chapel on the campus of Vanderbilt University. For the past two years, Melissa has served on the staff at Christ Church, New Haven, serving Yale University, Yale Divinity School, and greater New Haven. Lissa is married to Edwin Williamson. They have three boys, Ted, Van and Gilbert. |

Susan SluserDirector of Christian Education |
Susan joined the staff at St. Augustine’s in the summer of 2002 and is responsible for organizing Christian Education for all children and teenagers. In addition, Susan works very closely with the Vanderbilt student Wesley/Canterbury group on the Chapel's behalf. |

Kay Barry |
Kay is responsible for the Chapel security, building maintenance, scheduling of events, and coordinating with Magdalene/Thistle Farms. She is part of the pastoral care team, supervises a Divinity School intern for Magdalene, and teaches a class at Thistle Farms. Kay also helps with real estate questions at Magdalene/Thistle Farms. |

Tim Fudge |
Tim has been on the music staff of St. Augustine's since 2006 and serves as the Cantor, as well as assisting with the music for all services. In June of 2010 he joined the administrative staff, handling Becca's bookings, speaking engagements, travel arrangements, and daily calendar. | |

Tasha helps us look our best by providing custodial services to the chapel. She is a proud graduate of the Magdalene program. |

Deb Markland |
Deb came on board in 2008 after a 15-year career in music marketing. She handles communications for the chapel via the weekly e-newsletter, Sunday announcements, website, and printed materials for events and campaigns. She also facilitates the weekly staff meetings. |

Peggy McMurray |
Peggy is a native Nashvillian and cradle Episcopalian who has attended St. Augustine’s since 2003. She serves as the Chapel's business manager. Peggy is the proud grandmother of Anna Simpson. |

Ali Sevilla de Cocco |
Ali has worked at St. Augustine's since 2007. Graduating from Vanderbilt Divinity School in May 2011, Ali continues to serve the chapel with liturgical assistance. She also coordinates adult education, young adult activities, and teaches youth confirmation classes. |

Andrew Suitter |
Andrew works at the Oasis Center, an agency offering prevention, residential and clinical services to youth in crisis. At the Chapel, Andrew helps develop and lead Sunday and Wednesday evening worship services and co-teaches the Rite 13 class to middle-school students. |

Melissa Wert |
Melissa has maintained the website at St. Augustine's since its launch in 2003, introducing the St. A's podcast in 2005. She served as the coordinator for the Ecuador trip for 3 years and looks forward to returning to San Eduardo again in the coming years. |

Mary has been the Advisory Board President since 2008. In addition, Mary is a Children's Sunday school teacher trained in Levels 1, 2, and 3 of Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. |

Chris Roberts |
Chris is our Music Director. He works with the music staff to determine song choices for worship services and coordinates guest performances. He also directs Choir rehearsals and performances for special services throughout the year such as Lessons and Carols. Chris is an accomplished singer and songwriter who performed on Broadway before moving to Nashville. |

Steve Earle once said that "Michael Kelsh sings in a whisper that makes you want to listen more closely, so you can divine the secret - his songs." For more than a decade, Michael and the Ramblers have provided the soundtrack for worship at St. Augustine's. |

Harold Briggs |
Harold is the organist and resident music historian at St. Augustine's. He provides hymn accompaniment for Sunday morning and other special services. Harold creates hymn inserts with historical commentary and assists with singing and arranging. He welcomes your ideas, so please with hymn requests. |
