We got back safe and sound from a beautiful journey. We visited the Holy Cross Hospice in Botswana, the Lwala Community Alliance in Kenya, and the ABAN Project in Ghana as well as spending a week on safari. It was a time of reflection and inspiration. It was a huge gift to see so many people sharing a cup of compassion and watching a sunset take its time over the Serengeti. I will be preaching about it in light of the Gospel lesson this week on the feeding of the five thousand. I am so grateful that St A.'s let me go and am so happy to be home. I can't wait to see everybody.
