Music

The music at St. Augustine's is quite simply, stellar. You would be hard-pressed to find a better ensemble of musicians, singers and songwriters anywhere. Week after week, Music Director Chris Roberts, Michael Kelsh & The St. Augustine's Ramblers, Organist Greg Bieck, and Cantor Tim Fudge come together with a diverse array of world-class musicians and vocalists to provide the inspiring live soundtrack for services at St. Augustine's. It really doesn't get any better. To learn more about our music staff, click here.

The St. Augustine's Ramblers

Ramblers 2 Resized for Web

Michael Kelsh has gathered a group of musicians and vocalists that wow us each Sunday with the gift of their inspiring talent. Hats off to Michael, Marcus Hummon, Al Goll, Alisa McCance Bieck, Will Logsdon, Scott Revey and many other guest ramblers as they masterfully balance traditional hymns with the best of modern roots, rock, and blues music.

Visit the Ramblers Music page to listen to a sampling of songs from Sunday services at Benton Chapel.

Music Community

Being located in the heart of Music City has its perks. Week after week, we are fortunate and grateful to welcome a host of multi-talented, award-winning guest musicians and singers from the St. Augustine's congregation and wider community. The list is long and evergrowing. Some of the most familiar faces and voices include Laura Donohue, Radney Foster, Don & Stacey Schlitz, Tom Kimmel, Will Barrow, Chris Myers & Hannah Prater (The Bittersweets), Elizabeth Eckert, Allen Karns, Greg Bieck, Bill Patrick, Chris Donohue, Jen Hermansen, Luisa Lopez, Fleming McWilliams and John Mark Painter (Fleming and John) and many more. The weekly coming together of our music staff with so much inspiring talent from the community is what Becca has called "a stunning mosaic."
