Sunday Evening Gathering

Sundays from 5:00-6:30 p.m. (Dinner included)
Canterbury typically meets on Sunday evenings at St. Augustine's Chapel (2308 Vanderbilt Place). Our gatherings typically include a home-cooked meal, guest speakers, and meaningful space for conversation, reflection, and prayer.

Bible Study

Tuesday Evenings from 7:00-8:00 p.m.
Six-week Bible study from January 20-March 30.
Before the gospels, there were letters. Join us for an exploration of the (complicated) Apostle Paul, exploring how Paul's letters can help us practice a more expansive inclusive faith today All are welcome, dinner will be provided. Email Lindsey@staugustineschapel.org with questions.

Coffee/Crafting Hour

Wednesdays from 1-3 p.m. 
Join us on Wednesday afternoons for coffee hour & crafting at the A-Frame (2308 Vanderbilt Pl). Come chat, study, and enjoy some free coffee and crafting!

Join us for a blessing, invocation, and short Eucharist service for students and families. Followed by coffee and light snacks. From 9:00-9:30am at St. Augustine’s Chapel (2308 Vanderbilt Pl).

Sunday, August 30: Welcome Dinner + Blessing of the Backpacks
Join us as we hold space for folks to connect, reflect, and set an intention as we step into a new semester. From 5:00-6:30pm at St. Augustine’s Chapel (2308 Vanderbilt Pl).

Sunday, September 6: Dinner and Liturgy - Cultivating Community
Join us for a liturgy and conversation centered on building community. How do you build community? Are there places in your life where you’ve seen community done well? What has marked those spaces? From 5:00-6:30pm at St. Augustine’s Chapel (2308 Vanderbilt Pl).

Tuesday, September 15: Harry Potter Movie Night
Join us for pizza, popcorn, and butterbeer as we watch Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. 7:00pm at St. Augustine’s Chapel (2308 Vanderbilt Pl).

September 11-12: Overnight Retreat - Exploring Spiritual Practices
Join us for an overnight retreat in Sewanee, Tennessee. We’ll spend time outdoors, play games, and share in spiritual practices that can help ground us as we walk through the year. Questions? Email Sarah@staugustineschapel.org
