River Baptism

We will celebrate Holy Baptism communally a little closer to home this year. If you are interested in receiving the sacrament or wish it for your child for our River Baptism, please contact Christy Beesley by Wednesday, May 15th, Christy@staugustineschapel.org.

Blessing of Expectant Mothers - If you are pregnant and would like to participate in the expectant mother blessing during the service, please contact Christy@staugustineschapel.org.

Below are some very important pieces of information that will make your day more pleasant. Please share with all your friends and family attending.

  • Baptism Location! Shelter 10 at Edwin Warner Park

  • Parking!  Use shelter areas 6a/6b

  • Chairs! Please bring chairs and/or a blanket for you/your people. We are NOT renting any tables and chairs this year.

  • Water 1! The creek is low and wide. Perfect for playing. Feel free to bring water shoes and towels for anyone who might want to play.

  • Water 2! Please bring reusable water bottles to help cut down on waste.

  • Arrival! The service begins at 11:00, please plan to arrive a little early to get settled.

  • GREATEST POTLUCK EVER with Kay West! Please bring your side or dessert that serves 12 in a disposable dish with utensils.

    Dishes assigned by first letter of last name as follows:

    A-E - Salads (green or greenish salads)

    F-O - Main Dish (meat, casseroles, baked pasta, etc.)

    P-R - Side Dish (veggies, pasta salads, mac 'n' cheese, etc.) NOT a green salad (see A-E) 

    S-Z - Desserts (dessert)
