Canterbury@ Belmont is the Episcopal group that meets at Belmont University. We strive to create an open and safe space to explore our faith, discuss current events, sing songs, and enjoy the fellowship of each other. We welcome anyone who is interested in being a part of an open-minded, accepting group (not just Episcopalians!).
Weekly Gathering and Discussion- 10AM Mondays
Join us at Starbucks in the JAAC! We gather here to catch up, drink coffee, eat bagels, and discuss a reading.
Monthly Fellowship
Once a month, we have one fun event outside of our weekly meetings. We have baked communion bread for the 9:30am Sunday Service, gathered for breakfast at Thistle Farms followed by a hike, and had a movie night in the student lounge at the A-frame. We look forward to sharing more meals, taking more hikes, and having a spring retreat in the future!
CANTERBURY Student Center
(located inside St. Augustine's Chapel)
The student lounge area is equipped with a big flat screen, leather couches, comfy chairs, and a refrigerator. Perfect for studying, movie nights and more! Open to all Circle students. The student center requires a Vanderbilt key card for entry, which you can request from Susan Ferguson.
