The Justice Salon is a ministry of St. Augustine's Chapel dedicated to putting our faith into action around the primary areas of immigrant and refugee rights, racial and economic justice, LGBTQ+ inclusion, and environmental-ecological justice. We engage in this work through a process of education, reflection and action, engaging in collaborative efforts with many partners. Learn more about our current initiatives below! Contact Tandy Solomon if you want to be added to the Justice Salon email list, justicesalon@staugustineschapel.org.
plug in with the Justice Salon and community partners and put your faith into action!
Lately, the Justice Salon has put on a nonviolent organizing training, supported LGBTQI+ teens through meals at Launchpad, organized at the State Capital, participated in the Music City Iftar, and joined national protests like Hands Off. We are dedicated to being people of faith in the public sphere who believe that love heals.
The ReMix Way asks for your help.
Please consider donating to The ReMix Way food pantry through our Amazon Wishlist to help our neighbors. Many are now having difficulties due to immigration policies in Middle TN. Find out about TRW with the website here and click on "donate" to get to the Amazon wishlist.
Friends, Thank you for your support of The ReMix Way food pantry. We have added new families to our mutual aid projects, including the food pantry, because more and more family members are being detained by ICE. In order to serve more folks, we have reduced the number of items we are soliciting, and focusing on basic food needs. Also, in a survey we recently conducted with families, they indicated that they prefer these basic foods as well. The list now focuses on: dry beans (black or pinto), rice, pasta, canned diced tomatoes, oil, sugar, salt, shelf stable milk, instant oatmeal packs, masa, diapers and menstrual products. We will always use other items if they are donated of course, but we need larger supplies of the basics. We are updating our Amazon wishlist regularly to indicate our current needs and we invite you to check that out.
After you select items to purchase, you will get the option to have items sent to the home of one of our volunteers (not your own home!)

The Welcome Garden welcomes you!
2026 CSA will be available to order in the coming months.
The Welcome Garden is a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) farm started in 2023 on the land of Doug and Anne Hardin in Goodlettsville, in collaboration with the Center for Contemplative Justice and the St A’s Justice Salon community. Our desire is twofold; to grow local, organic produce for our community which stewards the land well and extend a place of welcome and part time employment to our newest neighbors in Nashville.
