Wednesday Dinner & Eucharist

  • St. Augustine's Episcopal Chapel 200 24th Avenue South Nashville, TN, 37212 United States (map)

The Corporal Works of Mercy are found in the teachings of Jesus and give us a model for how we should treat everyone with compassion, as if they were Christ in disguise. They are corporal (related to the body) because they respond to the basic needs of humanity. In the Christian tradition, these acts of mercy are ethical practices that all can offer as part of our duty and calling to love our neighbor as ourselves.
