Join us for a Holy Eucharist in honor of The Reverend Absalom Jones, the first African American priest in the Episcopal church. The Liturgy will be hosted by the Beloved Community: Commission for Racial Reconciliation and Christ Church Cathedral. The Reverend Colenzo Hubbard, founder of Emmanuel Center in Memphis and priest at Emmanuel Episcopal Church will be the preacher and the Right Reverend John C. Bauerschmidt will be the celebrant. There will be a reception following the Liturgy in the Parish Hall.
