The 2.5 mile walk commemorates the 1960 bombing of lawyer Z. Alexander Looby's home, and traces the peaceful march of 3,000 Nashville student activists from Mr. Looby's home to the Metro courthouse. It is traditionally observed on April 19, the anniversary of the bombing.
