The diocesan Beloved Community: Commission for Racial Reconciliation and Christ Church Cathedral invite you to the annual worship service and reception in celebration of Absalom Jones Feast Day. Bishop John Bauerschmidt will celebrate, the Rev'd Dr. Deborah Jackson will preach, and The Concert Choir of St. Paul's Church, Franklin, and The Student Choir of Episcopal School of Nashville will sing. The offering is designated for the two historically black Episcopal universities: St. Augustine's, Raleigh, North Carolina, and Voorhees in Denmark, South Carolina. To date, over $6,000 has been raised for the colleges from this service.
