A-E - Salads (green or greenish salads)
F-O - Main Dish (meat, casseroles, baked pasta, etc.)

  • You do NOT have to enter compete in the potluck dish category to which you are assigned by last name. For example, if your last name is Bishop and your assigned category is green or greenish salads, but you make killer deviled eggs (hint hint), enter those. If your last name is Karns but your pie is more competitive than your lasagna, enter the dessert category. Be aware, Bonnie Smith Whitehouse sets a high bar. If your last name is Stevens, you are ineligible.

  • There will be a designated table for competing dishes. Judges have the authority to remove a dish from pot luck and place in the competition should it look like a winner.

  • Tape your name and name of entry to the bottom of the dish. You can’t win the crown if you don’t write it down.

  • Like people, salads should avoid over-dressing

  • Kosher or sea salt is your friend.
