What does food have to do with our faith in the context of land, hunger and farmers? Kate Fields and the Food and Faith Collective invites you to a Food and Faith conversation on Saturday, November 15th from 8:30am to 2:30pm CST at Westminster Presbyterian Church (3900 West End Ave, Nashville, TN 37205). Those who attend will hear from a number of speakers involved with organizations like the Nashville Food Project, the Society of St. Andrew, and A Rocha USA. We will eat and learn together on topics like orchards, community gardening, habitat restoration, and local volunteering and explore ways in which people of faith and the buildings they worship in can be instrumental in shifting the local food system in Nashville.
