“Let the sea roar, and all that fills it; the world and those that live in it. Let the floods clap their hands’ let the hills sing together for joy.” Psalm 99: 7-8.
This winter our lives have been interrupted by the destructive power of the natural world. As the seasons change, the beauty of creation offers us the opportunity to heal in parallel with the trees and plants around us. Participants in this four-hour spiritual retreat will have the opportunity for guided contemplative practice at Larkspur's preserve. Though meditative hiking, lectio divina, and Taize-style singing we will enter into the healing this land demonstrates. The forest's cycles of death and life remind us of our own interconnectedness in the web of creation. This setting provides a unique opportunity for reflection and healing in the midst of grief and loss.
