Baptisms: If you are interested in being baptized or having someone baptized during the 9:30AM All Saints Eucharist, please contact Christy by Sunday, October 23rd, christy@staugustineschapel.org
All Saints and Dia de los Muertos: Our community is invited to celebrate the lives of our departed loved ones and all of God’s loved ones, those named and those unnamed. Remembering pets that have passed on is welcomed! We encourage you to bring photographs (framed if possible but not necessary), flowers, candles, rosaries, crosses, or other reminders of your loved ones! Just remember to retrieve any items after the service.
Please arrive a little early, if possible, for placement of items on the altar. If you do bring any flowers, if you want to get into the spirit of Día de los Muertos, we would especially love marigolds and other flowers that are orange and yellow (the traditional flowers and colors for Día de los Muertos observances).
We will then gather these mementos together on our collective altar, along with our memories, in reflective thanksgiving, prayer, and song.
