9:30AM: Holy Eucharist - Join us as we observe the Sunday before Labor Day in word and song!
Rev. Francisco will reflect on Labor Day from our faith tradition, and will be joined by a guest speaker (name forthcoming) who will share the story of their labor and why it matters for communities of faith. Seminarian intern Yuri Rodríguez will lead music for the occasion.
"Whenever you are engaged in work that serves humanity and is for the building of humanity, it has dignity, and it has worth. . . All labor has dignity." Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., speaking to striking sanitation workers and supporters just two weeks before his assasination.
Read the Labor Day reflection Francisco wrote on the assigned reading from the prophet Jeremiah for the day.
